With a career focused on innovation and instructional excellence, Bruce Potter has emerged as a leading voice in educational transformation. As a superintendent, director of innovation, and now co-founder and consultant, Bruce Potter has consistently bridged the gap between educational theory and classroom practice, helping schools achieve sustainable improvement through clarity, collaboration, and accountability.
In 2025, Bruce Potter became an author and consultant at the Center for Collaborative Expertise. In this role, he provides customized learning to scale. He also coaches leaders and monitors implementation.
Prior to this role, Mr. Potter was director of innovation at Green Island Union Free School District, where he led the district’s transition toward becoming a certified Visible Learning system. He designed and implemented comprehensive instructional frameworks, including The Heatly Way and the Heatly Instructional Model, which emphasize teacher clarity, student engagement, and consistent evaluation practices. Under his leadership, the district achieved notable academic gains, including student performance that significantly outpaced state benchmarks.
